old man tripper

old man tripper

old man tripper
he found a lost slipper
and wandered what it was all for

he’d thought he’d seen it all
until a princess went missing at the mall
it was an old score to settle
but time had left him little metal
it was the heart
for a piece of coal
that troubled him so

old man tripper
that old man tripper
didn’t notice the years flying by
he feigned the passing of the time a lie

that old man tripper
pulling old bunnies from a moth eaten top hat
some still get a entangled in your traps

old man tripper
that old man tripper
it was old age having a go at innocence
you were hoping for something different

old man tripper
oiled his way around the floor
with pick-up lines from days of yore
you were waiting to take your curtan call
only to find they aren’t buying it anymore…

old man tripper
that old man tripper
he might’ve known something, but
that old man tripper
he just kept tripping too long...

attack of the sand peeps

Yeah, what can you say? Star Wars was pretty darn overwhelming growing up in the 70’s. I remember I had a dream that I was Luke before I even saw the movie when I was five, getting knocked out by the sand people. This was all drawn from memory, except the sand people, who happened to be on the May issue of Juxtapoz!
